Clearly the installer then creates an additional folder (so the full actual install path becomes "C:\Program Files\3\3") but Revo Uninstaller does not then attempt to remove all other programs. In order to prevent Revo apparently viewing every item within that folder as "leftover" that location needs to be edited on the OO install screen to read "C:\Program Files\3". Having had a lengthy email correspondence with the developers of Revo Uninstaller and thanks to their help I have discovered the problem is caused by the fact that the Default Install location for OO, which is also the InstallLocation stored in the registry is "C:\Program Files\". Needless to say, allowing Revo to remove those "leftovers" would be disastrous! ![]() The problem is because of the default install location of OO, as stored in the Registry, the search for those leftover files etc CAN lead to Revo listing virtually every program and registry item on the PC as "leftover" from the uninstall of the program you are wanting to remove. (Default uninstalls rarely remove everything connected with the particular program).
